Wildflower Health acquires Every Mother to bring pelvic floor care into its maternal health platform 🤱
Wildflower Health has acquired Every Mother, a clinically-validated digital platform for core and pelvic floor health during pregnancy, postpartum and beyond. The deal marks Wildflower's entry into the direct-to-consumer market and adds specialist physical rehabilitation to its existing enterprise digital and hybrid care infrastructure. Up to 60% of women experience abdominal separation postpartum, yet most lack a clinical pathway to treat it. Every Mother's HSA/FSA-eligible programme, developed with pelvic floor physiotherapists, has been serving women since 2018.
“Mothers shouldn’t have to act as their own care coordinators during one of the most physically demanding chapters of their lives. For too long, prenatal prep and postpartum recovery have been treated as optional or secondary. Together, we are making specialized core and pelvic health a standard, easily accessible resource, which elevates the quality of maternal care and improves long-term outcomes.”

Juno Bio raises $3.8M and opens first sequencing lab dedicated to women's health 🧬
The UK-founded precision vaginal microbiome company has raised $3.8M from Ada Ventures, Artesian, Entrepreneur First and Illumina Accelerator, and opened its first sequencing lab in Oakland, California. Juno's next-generation sequencing platform analyses approximately 10,000 bacteria and fungi alongside four common STIs, delivering clinically actionable insights into infections, fertility and menopausal health. The company has sold more than 20,000 tests to date and found that 67.5% of customers had been incorrectly diagnosed before using its platform.
“Vaginal microbiome testing has the potential to significantly reshape how we understand and manage vaginal health, particularly for patients with recurrent or unexplained symptoms. Over the past five years, Juno Bio has grown from a pioneering vaginal microbiome test into a clinical platform advancing a new standard of care for women’s health.”

Estrigenix Therapeutics closes first tranche of $2M seed round to advance estrogen receptor-beta platform 🔬
Milwaukee-based Estrigenix has closed the first tranche of its $2M Series Seed, led by Talents Fund I, to advance its selective estrogen receptor-beta (ERβ) platform through translational preclinical development. Unlike therapies that target symptoms from estrogen reduction, Estrigenix's non-steroid-hormone ERβ platform has the potential to address multiple women's health and neurodegenerative conditions through a shared biological pathway. Multiple pharmaceutical companies have already expressed interest in future opportunities around its lead candidate.
"This financing marks an important inflection point for Estrigenix. It reflects years of scientific progress and disciplined company building, and it allows us to advance a differentiated platform toward clinical development while expanding the opportunities that platform can ultimately address."
— Victoria Zellmer, Chief Executive Officer, Estrigenix Therapeutics
Elle MD raises $1.1M CAD to develop non-hormonal, removable contraceptive ring 💊
Nova Scotia-based Elle MD has raised $1.1M CAD in a pre-seed round to fund its first in-human clinical trial at The Ottawa Hospital this autumn. Its device, the Livv, is a monthly silicone-and-copper vaginal ring that prevents pregnancy without hormones - designed for women who can't tolerate or don't want hormonal contraception, while offering the flexibility of self-removal unlike an IUD. The round includes Elizabeth Edwards of H Venture Partners, Invest Nova Scotia and the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation, among others. Total funding including non-dilutive grants now stands at $2.5M CAD.
"Although hormonal contraception works really well and is very commonly prescribed, I did have a lot of patients who either couldn’t tolerate it, didn’t want to use hormones, or had personal medical issues that prevented them from using it, leaving them with very few options. I wanted something better for my patients, and better for me”

GoRocky acquires Kindred to extend its stigma-breaking model to women's health in the Philippines 🇵🇭
Manila-based men's telehealth platform GoRocky has acquired the Kindred brand and assets from Kindred Health - widely credited as Manila's first femtech startup - bringing two platforms that have collectively served close to 100,000 Filipinos under one company. GoRocky plans to expand Kindred's women-first care model into menopause, metabolic health, mental health and sexual health. The move follows GoRocky's $2M seed round in 2025 and is driven in part by the fact that more than 60% of its weight management patients are already women.
"One integrated platform is what lets us deliver better care to both men and women: a network of licensed doctors and partner pharmacies, our own technology for electronic medical records and order management, and diagnostics. Our first priority is to serve existing patients better: 24/7 support, an expanded doctor network, and more treatment options as determined by our doctors while ensuring continuity of care throughout the transition."
